USA TODAY Bestselling Author

Whether meeting with book clubs or speaking at author forums, one of my favorite parts of writing is being able to connect with book lovers, other authors, and those who dream of writing a book. It can happen!

Cover Reveal!

Published January 7th, 2018 by Rochelle

Today’s the day….cover reveal for SOMEBODY’S DAUGHTER! This moving story releases April 17th, and I can’t wait for you to read it. Thank you to Great Thoughts Great Readers—what I call “bookish kryptonite”—for sharing and celebrating books and authors everywhere. To show our readers the love and support they deserve, I’ve partnered with GTGR to give away four $50 Amazon gift cards. Click here for your chance to enter the giveaway and for a link to pre-order the book. Somebody’s Daughter is a timely novel of family and forgiveness. Our children are growing up in a fast-paced, technologically advanced world. We’ve seen digital bombs go off, detonating good families and good people. Privacy doesn’t exist as “messing up” is very public and very raw. This is not a story of spectacle or blame, but rather a tale of innocence and compassion. Despite our best intentions, mistakes happen. As parents and human beings, we need not judge. Visit my book page for a full description.

When words touch....

Published August 9th, 2017 by Rochelle

Camille Di Maio, Emily Bleeker, and I spent a glorious week at RWA in Orlando. We stopped in a wonderful shop (Sugar Boo) filled with inspirational paper quotes. Each of us chose a saying, which we inscribed a special message on the back, to send along to a reader. Here's what we received from the reader. It is an indescribable feeling to know you have touched someone with your words.

Epic #TBT

Published June 30th, 2017 by Rochelle

#ThrowbackThursday to the time I became a USA Today Bestselling Author and didn't even know! What We Leave Behind debuted as a bestseller on October 16, 2014. Found out June 29, 2017. Now I'm going to quote my friend Rebecca Warner, "The puzzling thing is, you didn't have this to bolster you through some tough times, and you pushed through and got better and better. What does that say about your capacity to go to great heights?" There's a lesson here for all of us.

Why I Speak at Schools About Reading & Writing

Published March 17th, 2017 by Rochelle

March 16, 2017. Because of these munchkins! They're only 1st graders, but it's never too soon to begin a lifelong passion for reading. Reading makes for better writing, spelling, and improves your vocabulary. It was an honor and a thrill to inspire these young minds at Cypress Elementary. They certainly inspire me.
